Celebrating 2016 Ministry Results!

This week, our CentriKid office team is away from the office at something we call “Eval Week,” a time where we celebrate what God did throughout the summer and discuss ways (from your feedback!) that we can make next summer even better.

Before we ever jumped in to details and discussion, we spent time as a team praying over the decisions that were made and seeds that were planted at camp. Because of how God worked through CentriKid’s “Unseen,” hundreds of kids now have a relationship with Christ and many others are continuing to grow in their faith.

We are excited to officially announce our 2016 Ministry Results!

Register by 9/1 for your Box of Chaos!

In 2013, we had an idea to create a “Box of Chaos.” This box was loaded with lots of fun CK swag and other resources to help AdventureAwaits_color (2)promote CentriKid Camps at your church and get kids signed up for camp, and has become a huge tradition with many of the churches who come to CentriKid! Since then, we have received great feedback from the churches that did receive our box every year, and we have continued to make the Box of Chaos BIGGER and BETTER!

You can get your very own 2017 “Adventure Awaits” Box of Chaos! It will be theme specific and will includes lots of items and promotional material to help get your kids (and yourself) excited for CentriKid 2017! We don’t want to give away all the details because we want you to be surprised when you open the box, but, since it is called the Box of Chaos, rest assured that there will be items inside the box pertaining to our favorite game, Organized Mass Chaos (OMC).

How can you receive your very own Box of Chaos to help promote CentriKid at your church? It’s easy, actually! All you have to do is sign up for camp before September 1. You can register for CentriKid in two easy ways: CALL  1-877-CAMP-123 or CLICK on CentriKid.com! Remember, when you pre-register for camp, there is absolutely no payment required until February 15.

We think that CentriKid 2017 is going to be the best summer of camp yet as we teach kids that Jesus is the One, True Light, and we hope to see you there! Find out more about our 2017 spiritual direction here!We also hope that the Box of Chaos will help you get kids excited about camp so that you can bring even more kids and give them the chance to hear about the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

Download the 2016 CentriKid Music

Since camp, have there been songs you’ve heard at CentriKid that you just can’t get out of your head? We get many requests each year for a  list of the songs we sing during Worship and I Can’t Wait. We also get requests for the awesome playlists you hear on the rec field and as you enter and exit the auditorium.

We design the CentriKid worship playlists to be recognizable songs that kids hear on the radio (or can easily learn) so that they can jump right in to worship at camp. We have all of those playlists and songs in one easy location so you can find them, purchase them from iTunes and play them however much you want!

Check out the CentriKid.com Music page to find all of our 2016  CentriKid Music and playlists! Hurry–we’ll be updating the site with music for CentriKid 2017 after the beginning of the next year!

CentriKid 2017: Adventure Awaits!

We are excited to officially announce our 2017 camp theme, Adventure Awaits: Follow the One, True Light! At CentriKid 2017, we will embark on an epic adventure as we learn why Jesus Christ is the One, True Light. In a world full of darkness, we will show campers how the one, true light of Jesus Christ can show us the way, bring us life, and shine through us. When we follow the One, True Light, we will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

Check out this teaser video!

Our key verse for the summer will be John 8:12: “Then Jesus spoke to them again: ‘I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

Each day, we’ll focus on the why we should always follow the One, True Light and how we can have thCentriKid Boy Hiker

Day 1: Jesus is the One, True Light

Day 2: The Light Reveals Our Need

Day 3: The Light Shows us the Way

Day 4: The Light Brings Us Life

Day 5: The Light Shines Through Us

We hope that you are excited for CentriKid 2017! You can join the adventure by signing up your church group as soon as possible before camps fill up! Dates and locations can be found here, or by calling 1-877-CAMP-123. What are you waiting for? Adventure Awaits!

Today is the last day of CentriKid 2016!

Wow! Can you believe how fast this summer has flown by? (Get it…FLOWN by? A little airplane humor)

Today is the last day of CentriKid 2017. We are celebrating the incredible things that God did through CentriKid this summer! THANK YOU for being a huge part of camp this summer. We consider it a huge honor to be able to serve so many churches through CentriKid!

God has done absolutely incredible things through our theme, Unseen! So many kids have heard about how the armor of God is real, and powerful although it is Unseen! We loved talking about Unseen Strength, Unseen Truth, and Unseen Peace and how we can live those out with Visible Faith and Visible Boldness.

Now what?

Check out our post camp extras! On CentriKid.com, we have lots of post-camp-extras for you to check out and use with your church! On that page, you can find:

The Levels of Biblical Learning

All summer, we’ve been talking with Adult Leaders about The Levels of Biblical Learning at camp. The Levels of Biblical Learning is a blueprint and framework that helps kids ministry leaders and parents understand how to explain key Biblical concepts to kids at any age! As Kids GROW, their understanding of FOUNDATIONAL TRUTHS grows with them.

Screen Shot 2016-08-01 at 8.07.30 AM

The Levels of Biblical Learning covers 10 biblical concept areas – God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Bible, Salvation, Creation, Church, People, Family, Community & World – that children can learn as they study God’s Word. The concept areas are presented through six different age ranges, from infancy through the preteen years, and reflect levels of understanding that follow how God designed children to learn.

LifeWay Kids provides resources (including CentriKid Camps!) that will equip you to offer kids opportunities to hear God’s Word, know God’s Word, and do God’s Word by applying it to their lives. The Levels of Biblical Learning Collection resources are tools that we have designed to help you teach children truths from God’s Word, truths that can impact kids for eternity.

You can find out more about Levels of Biblical Learning and find training content for your leaders by visiting Lifeway.com/LevelsofBiblicalLearning.

Bible Studies for Life: Kids is based on the Levels of Biblical Learning. Learn more about how to connect God’s word to kids’ lives in an intentional way with this resource.
