FAQs for Parents

A

Camp is open to campers who have completed 3rd grade through those who have completed 6th grade.


A

Bible, shorts and t-shirts, shoes (campers must wear closed toe shoes at recreation!), personal hygiene items and linens, favorite pillow, money for snacks and items in the store and other optional items such as a camera.


A

Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, fireworks, any kind of weapon, radios, portable CD players, MP3 players, iPods, water guns, water balloons, skateboards, and rollerblades (this includes “Wheelies”).

This depends on the location your group will be attending. The majority of locations are 2–4 bedroom dorm rooms with shared bathrooms or bath on the hall. Be sure to check out your group’s location page for more specific information!

FAQs for Group Leaders

This depends on the location your group will be attending. The majority of locations are 2–4 bedroom dorm rooms with shared bathrooms or bath on the hall. Be sure to check out your group’s location page for more specific information!


A

Parties are camp-wide activities that happen at night and are just for fun! Sometimes the party is in a game show format and sometimes it is a recreation based activity. Parties generally take place in the auditorium. The last night’s party is a chance to see what the performance track times have been working on all week- we call it the Variety Show!

At Hang Time, we want you to hang out with your kids, and we want to hang out with your kids, too! There are always games and various other Hang Time options planned, so there is never a dull moment! Most locations have a rec center and/or snack bar so be sure to bring some extra cash for snacks. Of course, the Camp Store is open and there are staff all over campus to hang out and get to know your kids.

At overnight camps, breakfast, lunch, and supper will be served on Tuesday through Thursday and are included in your camp fee. Supper will be provided on the Monday you arrive and breakfast will be provided the Friday you depart.

1 adult for every 5 kids (gender specific).

Our deposit deadline is February 15. For all spots you have reserved, a $50 deposit is required to keep that spot. You can take care of this by calling 1-877-CAMP123 or by accessing your account online HERE. Payments include check, credit card, or your LifeWay Account. Remember, you can still make reservations after February 15, based on availability at our locations, but a $50 deposit will be due upon any new registrations.

The Group Leader Information has a Registration Checklist with instructions, but one important change for this year is that you need to bring one notarized copy (turned in to CentriKid) and one photo-copy (kept by the group leader) of the Participant Form for each person coming to camp.

Pending the week and location, other groups may be on campus as well. Although CentriKid will use the majority of the housing at each camp location, there may be other visitors to the campus or conference center your group attends.
