Each summer we partner with both the International Mission Board (IMB) and the North American Mission Board (NAMB) in support of missions projects globally and at home. We are excited to continue our partnerships this summer through our missions offering at camp. Check out our 2015 missions emphasis below!
NAMB | St. Louis, MO | August Gate Church
Almost 80-90% of the people who live in St. Louis, MO, do not know Jesus. That’s why Noah Oldham and his family moved to the city and started August Gate Church. The church partners with a local school and works in the community to provide safe places for kids to hang out after school and Christmas gifts for families who cannot afford gifts for their children. They also host a camp for kids each summer. Noah and the church members plan all these activities so they can build relationships and tell kids and adults about Jesus. Part of the money you give to the missions offering will help support Noah so he can continue to show other people the love of Christ.
IMB | South Asia | One Cup of Water
Last summer, we helped provide new water pumps for villages in South Asia. In South Asia, nearly 1,200 water pumps have broken handles or busted storage containers, and the people have no way to get clean water. This year, we will continue to help provide clean water for villages through our missions offering. Only $10 helps buy a new pump handle, and $50 helps provide a new pump head. Plus, when you give, you support the work of missionaries who tell people about the living water—Jesus.
