PREPARE: Mark off your playing area, and scatter 3-5 hoola hoops around the play area.
PLAY: Appoint 2-3 King (male) and/or Queen (female) Ants to chase players. Once tagged, “ants” lie on the ground flailing arms and legs. 4 friends carry tagged ant to an anthill, and that person is back in the game. Anyone who’s working to “untag” a player by carrying them to an anthill cannot be tagged. In other words, that’s the only way to be “safe.”
Option: Give king and queen ants a ball or ½ size pool noodle to use to tag players. This helps other players identify who is chasing.
