Here at CentriKid Camps, we love games. I’m sure that’s no surprise to you. There aren’t too many of us who work here in the office, so we can’t play OMC every time we hang out. Many people wonder what we play instead. Here are three of our favorite games…
Corn Hole – Also known as tailgate toss, bean bag toss, and a myriad of other names… this requires 2 boards and 8 bean bags. The object is to get as many bean bags (or bags of corn) in the hole on the opposite team’s board. Points are awarded for bags on the board as well. We don’t yet have, but (cough) would love for someone to make us (cough) CentriKid-themed corn hole boards. Any takers?!?!
Bocce – Many folks may not know that bocce is a retired CentriKid Camps game, from the retired track time, Lawn Games. Thus, we had a number of bocce sets in storage and recently picked up the game for fun. We could play for hours! Each person plays with a different OMC colored, weighted ball. The object is to get closest to the bocce ball to score a point or two points. He with the most points wins.
Nertz – The best card game ever created. Only seasoned, quick, experienced nertz players survive around the CentriKid Camps table. Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration. We aren’t that good! For official nertz rules, check out wikipedia. We typically play team-style nertz and we almost always draw rocks to see who will play together.
FUN is a big part of CentriKid Camps culture, and we always have a blast playing these games. What games do you think we should add to our list of favorites, or at least check out?
