If an individual camper does not pass the health screening prior to camp because of a positive COVID-19 test or exposure, then all monies for that camper will be refunded to the church.
Parent FAQ Category
What do my kids need to bring to camp?
Bible, shorts and t-shirts, shoes (campers must wear closed-toe shoes at recreation), toiletries and linens (where needed), favorite pillow, money for snacks and items in the store and other optional items such as a camera.
We also will require each camper to bring a face covering (we recommend enough for each day of camp), and highly recommend bringing hand sanitizer to carry around for personal use.
What should my kids not bring to camp?
Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, fireworks, any kind of weapon, radios, portable CD players, MP3 players, iPods, water guns, water balloons, tablets, and skateboards (this includes “Wheelies”).
What will Accommodations be like?
This depends on the location your group will be attending. The majority of locations are 2–4 bedroom dorm rooms with shared bathrooms or bath on the hall. Be sure to check out your group’s location page for more specific information!
What are the Ages for CentriKid?
3-Day and 5-Day Camp is open to campers who are 2nd grade through those who have completed 6th grade. Many folks have asked for this, so we’ve placed this decision in the hands of the church group leader and the parents about whether to include 2nd graders in your CentriKid group.
CentriKid Day Camp can serve kids from the 1st grade through the 6th grade – and its hosted at YOUR facility. Please contact centrikiddaycamp@gmail.com for more information.
