Bible Study Staffer

November 5, 2020 By Alli Sewell

As a Bible Study Staffer, one would facilitate and lead a small group Bible Study each day. Campers are divided into Bible Study groups by grade. The spiritual content of the daily themes are introduced each day in Bible Study and reinforced to campers throughout the day in Recreation and Track Times. The Bible Study content is given to the staff in the spring prior to arrival at training.

The Bible Study Staffer is also expected to fulfill all job requirements of a CentriKid staffer including, having a vibrant walk with the Lord, maintaining a daily quiet time, and a genuine love for kids; leading two activity Track Times; participating in Hang Time and Church Group Time; assisting in load-in and load-out of camp at each location; abiding by all CentriKid staff policies and Statement of Commitment.

Recreation Staffer

November 5, 2020 By Alli Sewell

A typical team will be composed of 4 Rec Staffers. As a Rec Staffer, one would facilitate and lead large group games with kids in our morning rotations. Along with some of the games, it is the Rec Staffer’s responsibility to connect the game to scripture and what the kids are learning in Bible Study through a prepared devotion, called a “debrief”. The games and debriefs will be provided in the Rec Guide given to staff in the spring.

The Rec Staffer is also expected to fulfill all job requirements of a CentriKid staffer including, having a vibrant walk with the Lord, maintaining a daily quiet time, and a genuine love for kids; leading two activity track times; participating in Hang Time and Church Group Time; assisting in load-in and load-out of camp at each location; abiding by all CentriKid staff policies and Statement of Commitment.
